Littoral

It comprises the provinces of Misiones, Corrientes and Entre Ríos –Mesopotamia– as well as Chaco, Formosa and Santa Fe, occupying the northeast of the Argentine territory. The climate varies from tropical to subtropical, with dense colorful jungles and estuaries, deep rivers and numerous streams crossing the plains, rocky emergences in the north and soft hills in the south. This aquatic paradise has a diverse and invaluable prosperity of native flora and fauna.
Towards the northeast, the province of Misiones is located. It was named after the ancient Jesuit missions, whose ruins can be visited in San Ignacio. The main attraction of the province are undoubtedly the magnificent Iguazú Falls, declared a Natural World Heritage Property by UNESCO. These breathtaking geological formations outline innumerable waterfalls of great height and water volume, offering a one-of-a-kind natural show, such as the Moconá Falls.
Heading south, we find the littoral region per se, constituted by the provinces of Santa Fe, Entre Ríos and Corrientes, with plenty of estuaries and framed by two powerful rivers: the Paraná and the Uruguay, which create a paradise for water sports and sport fishing lovers.

Outdoor activities: trekking; rafting; sport hunting and fishing; water activities; flora and fauna watching; horseback riding and thermal baths.
